Urinary tract infection and delayed period

Do these go hand in hand? I've been in pain all night, feeling like I have to pee every few minutes. I was mistaking this for early pregnancy, but now it's all too obvious that it's a UTI. I'm 5 days late for my period. Anyone know?

I don't know for sure but I'd think that could definitely affect it being late. It's an infection after all. And I think you'd be getting a very obvious positive test at this point if you were pregnant.

UTI's suck...I had one a couple months after I had Patton.

Yeah, I've taken three home tests, all negative. I'm going to to the doctor tomorrow to get checked, hopefully it's just a UTI and not more than that.
