Erotica

I write novels, about to get my first one published, that are classified as dark fantasy or paranormal erotica. I was wondering whether people have a tendancy to view erotica in the same category as pornography or pornographical material. If you don't like your partner watching porn or looking at pictures, would you have the same feelings if you found them reading an erotic novel?

No I would think it was fine. But I'd prefer they hide it like they would porn.

I would be ecstastic that he's reading something longer than a facebook status. I wouldn't view it as pornographic though, more like just watching a nice rated M movie. If theres a real story line then that's okay, but not if its just boobies and bungholes waving around the screen with a penile shaft lodged between them.

It wouldn't bother me. I would hope he'd keep it out of the site of our nosy kids.

I don't like porn, or pictures, I haven't read 50 shades of grey and don't ever care to lol,
but I have done photo shoots, and my husband has my pictures and posters, but I think its diff because its me...

I've asked him in past if that's something u need to do, u better make it no existant for me I don't ever want to know about it lol,

He knew I didn't like it, and since that 1st talk about it, its nevr come up we've never had an issue...

No ... well not the stuff I nor my friends write anyway. And I don't class 50 Shades as true erotica. Game of Thrones is fantasy/erotica.

No I dont see porn and erotica as the same thing.
