Quoting HopingforaMiracle:"
Quoting justanothamotha:" Our local one won't allow it. I always ... [snip!] ... keep me on the list for next time."
that sucks that they're going against the Red Cross guidelines."it sucks that I didn't realize they were until RIGHT now. I assumed they knew the guidelines. I never looked them up for myself. I probably did before I ever gave blood or something, but then I never looked up the rules of post partum donation. LOL
Quoting HopingforaMiracle:"
Quoting justanothamotha:" it sucks that I didn't realize they were ... [snip!] ... 150 pounds would be obese for my height. So I haven't donated except for one time when a different place didnt tell me that."Well they are consistent here with the 110. They always weigh me first. Fun. Make you feel 12 like you are lying or something. Once the woman getting ready to tap my arm also said I looked too thin to be 110 & insisted I go get weighed again with no shoes on. I WAS above weight limit - like 115 or 118 or something. I can't recall, I just know I WAS heavy enough. They were just being weird.
