BTN says that but other baby name sites could say differently. Ive always been told Ashlyn as well. And this was from an expert in Irish names...

That changes my mind about the name completely. We have our future boys name set in stone, girls we like Amelia Willow, and Molly, and Elinor Katherine. So I figured I would look at Irish and Russian names (I, Irish, SO, Russian) But I am not fond of many Russian names for girls, and Ashlynn I dont like :-/ anyone have anymore irish names for first?

I know a wee Irish girl called aisling- pronounced ashlyn. They're Irish so I'd believe them. I believe they said it could also be pronounced ashling but that's not very common these days anymore.
