Dilation/C-section Question!
posted 12th Jan
I had a section with my first because she was breech. So ill have another. Well iv been 1cm and 50% thinned for 3 weeks. I was thinking if i go to the hospital to get checked(before my scheduled c-section) and i was like a 5. Would they go ahead and deliver him?

I would try my damndest.

They could. Have you even thought about having a VBAC? If everything is looking good and there is no reason for a section I would at least attempt to have a vaginal delivery.

I'm confused on your question.
I had an emergency c/s with DS due to fetal distress. With DD I went to the hospital in labor and was 6cm and they just did my c/s then

Yes,they support it but DR told me their is a chance of your past incision opening from the inside killing the mother and baby. She scared the smurf out of me with that!

Yes it is possible but it isn't a guarantee. It wouldn't necessarily kill you and the baby. You would need emergency surgery and probably wouldn't be able to have any more children. But that is the worst of the worst possible scenario. There are tons of women who have successful deliveries after a c section without any complications. I would at least look into it.

Lawl. I love doctors sometimes.
The chance of that happening is less than 1%. There are more risks with a repeat c-section

Not even. Seriously, go look it up. I'd link a bunch of medical studies but I'm on my damn phone. I'm doing a vbac so I've done a lot of reading on it
