PLEASE HELP. 3yo with lump in neck

This just showed up on my 3 year old nephews neck. any ideas what it could be.. he can breathe but im so scared.

Is it painful? How long has he had it?

What does it feel like when you touch it?

Like a marble. bigger obviously but rock hard

Take him to the ER. No clue what it could be. Thats what the doctor is for

You're in Canada? You should get to the ER asap.

Did he hit his neck somehow?

I would take him in, personally. That's concerning.

I this happen to me when I was about 20. For me it was a swollen gland. At first it was a lump then it began to hurt and hurt real bad. It ended up being an infected gland and I needed antibiotics. It appeared at first over the course of a few hours. So getting it checked would be a good idea so it doesn't escalate. An urgent care would work, or make an appt first thing for Monday.

Did he swallow anything? Tell your ride to hurry up... I'd be at the ER so fast.

I would take him in.

It kinda looks like a cyst. But cysts normally aren't hard.
