Ive had terrible constipation this entire pregnancy. I woke up this morning and Ive pooped three times and it was all soft. (I cant remember the last time I had a soft bm)
So my question is, how many of you ladies had diarrhea before going into labor? Am I just being nuts?
(Ive had contractions 5 minutes apart for 6 weeks now with very slow dilation and effacement.)

my contractions started out like I had a stomach bug, but no smurf.

i had diarrhea for a couple days like a week or so before I went into labor...it is the body's natural way of cleaning out your system and preparing for birth.

this last time around, I woke up with bad stomach cramps and diarrhea in the middle of the night


ETA: I hadn't been constipated before hand, but they were all solid, then BAM, unfunny...

I just had a backache nothing else

That is how my first labor was, plus shaking.

oh, god! the shakes!!!! W/ my first, it didn't happen until I was well into contracting.

with my second, I'd get them randomly for the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy.

Long story short doctor didn't think I was in active labor because I was talking just fine through contractions on phone. No on told us about shaking. My poor husband was in a near panic when he saw it, and basically convinced me to go to the hospital. I was 9 cm dilated lol!

Second labor I was shaking through entire labor. Midwife kept asking if I was cold.

I just started a job, so basically I have to work until I go into labor, or at least until a day or two before my due date. I work about an hour away from my house and 45 mins away from my hospital. I'm so worried, i'm going to go into false labor at work LOL I'll just be sitting there on the phone shaking like a crazy person, my boss will be wanting to rush me to the hospital down the street every other day.
This will be interesting to say the least.

i talked through contractions too...that is why I didn't think I was ready to go to the hospital..the only reason I went in is because I started throwing up and I didn't want to get dehydrated and I was 8cm!
