fell off couch :/

My 10 month old just fell off my couch   he hit his head on the floor which is carpet. He cried real hard for a couple mins idk if it hurt more or scared him more. AND he is ready for his afternoon nap. Is it ok to let him sleep or should I keep him awake? What if I check on him every 10 mins? Idk if I'm being paranoid or not. I know these things happen but it worries me eveytime

I always heard to not let them fall asleep for an hour if they hit their head :/

as long as he hasnt vomited your safe to let him nap , just watch him an if he vomits continuesly you should take him to the er to make sure he doesnt have a concusion (sp)

you could check his eyes with a flash light to see if they constrict with light.

Your LO is fine. It's not a very long way down. As long as he wasn't unresponsive, dazed or vomiting after the fall, let him sleep. It just scared him more than anything. He's at that age, don't feel bad momma. It happens all the time.
