little love notes

SO works nights several times a week (10pm-6am). i leave him little notes on his night stand if hes not home when i go to bed. just like i love you so much, blah blah sappy love kinda stuff. i was talking to my friend about it cause her SO works nights alot too. she said that me leaving him little love notes like that is so cute it makes her sick. i never thought about it before. lol i just thought it was like something everyone would do/did. am i the only one that does it or is it really that "cute"? lol

I leave little notes in my husband's lunch box that he takes to work. I do it because I want him to know how much I love him. ^.^ He never comments on it when he comes home, but I know he reads them.

I don't leave him handwritten love notes but I text him love notes all the time... Does that count? lol

Actually, we sext most of the day while he is gone lol

I think it depends on the couple. My relationship with my fiance for the first 8 months took place mostly through letters or messages on facebook since he deployed 2 weeks after we met. I wrote him a letter every single day he was gone. Now that he is back I still write him notes and letters, especially on weeks where we don't see each other a lot, or when we get into a big fight to help explain how I feel and why I felt that way. Sometime when your relationship starts in letters its easier to communicate that way.

Whenever i go out for a whole day to spend with a friend or if ill be gone visiting parents for a while, i leave post-it notes all around our apartment with little memos and love notes on them. then one day, he surprised me by making a giant mirage on the wall with colorful post-it notes that said "i love u" and the whole mirage took up the entire length of the wall of our living room and took up about 2,000 post-its all together. it was the cutest and one of the most touching things he did. and then another time, i had left post-it notes around the apartment for him before leaving for a friends place that was in another city and when i got back that night, i found that he had replaced my post-its with his own, leading all the way up to our bedroom, where he had left a red rose for me

he doesnt ever really say anything about them but sometimes hell come cuddle on me. like last night i left him a note that ws like you have no idea how much you mean to me but ill spend the rest of my life trying to show you,i will love you always, forever and beyond. he woke me up to tell me he loved me too and came cuddled with me. lol

my Oh is the same, he works 10pm-7am so leaves at 9pm so i'll draw him pics and leave them with little notes on his desk sometimes

agree. met DH is oct 2010 started dating nov 2010 got engaged dec 2010 married jan 2011 13 days after we got married he left for basic training for 3 months and it was all letters until he got back and now we still write little letters now and then
