So what's the rules? If I wanted to have like 2 cups one night? My baby boy nurses very frequently

You fine to drink. Enjoy.
Alcohol leaves the milk just like it leaves the bloodstream.

If you don't feel drunk, you can still nurse.

When I drank and breastfed I would feed my daughter right before I had my first glass. That way I had an hour or two before she wanted to eat again.

I'd try to drink it like Immediately after nursing that way it's mostly out by the next feeding. Usually it's about 1-2 hrs per drink. If u don't get yourself drunk it should be fine.

Thanks guys!

i heard to wait at least 3 hours before you start feeding again, but i usually wait a little longer. maybe try and freeze some breast milk to hold him over if you decide to wait the 3 hours or so.

Yea my doctor told me it's fine to drink while breastfeeding as long as your not taking a bunch of shots lol but even then he said just pump out the milk after you had shots and dump it and your milk should be fine!! In fact I'm drinking a nice big glass of raspberry wine as we speak!!

Pump n dump is useless. If its in your system it's in your milk. Regardless if u pump or not. Pump n dump is to relieve yourself if you aren't nursing and u don't wanna skip a feeding time or you're full and uncomfortable. Otherwise u have to wait it out.
