That's great that you were able to do it. I may have to check out that app. My job really lets me get exercise most of the time since I'm always walking but I'd like to be able to hit the track at the school near by after school is out for the day. With the crazy weather we have here it's hard. But once income tax comes in I'm either getting a tread mill or that new one that came out by boflex so I can do the stuff at home when I don't have time to head to the school. I want at least the 20lbs by May. I hope I can do it. It's day 3 now and I really haven't slipped too much. I ate a Snickers yesterday but it had peanuts in it so it wasn't completely unhealthy. But I will definitely change my meals and I'm not much on candy so I guess that helps alot.

My insurance doesn't cover anything fertility-wise but they did cover all my diagnostics. You may have to pay out of pocket for a visit to an RE but if your insurance does cover diagnostics I would go for it. It could turn out to be something very simple and easy/inexpensive to treat. Also if your SO hasn't had a SA yet, I'd get one of those. We did have to pay out of pocket for it but it wasn't very much.

Don't forget the strength training! I remember you saying metformin messed up your cycles. Strength training is a natural way of increasing insulin sensitivity, which is what the met is prescribed for.

Oh yes metformin did mess me up but I don't have insulin resistence to begin with. I don't have any of those issues. My doctor put me on it to help me lose weight but in the end it didn't help me do that or anything else. It made me not ovulate when I probably would have. I didn't start ovulating again until October which was a month after I got off of the metformin. I have regular cycles now and I've ovulated 3 months in a row finally. My body has been kinda messed up since the miscarriage last year then I had the cyst on my right ovary which caused more problems. So I had a rough year which half of it I can't say I could have successfully ttc because of the issues. But now that it's all worked out I should have no trouble. I am really increasing my water intake and what's weird is I'm on CD 9 right now and I keep feeling wet. I know it's not time for me to be fertile though. Hopefully it's a good sign that my CM is increasing. But I won't forget the strength training. I tested my cervix this morning and it was still low but I had the thick CM but it was still stretchy so hoping it thins out and stays stretchy like that. Maybe my problem all along was too little CM and the sperm couldn't survive like saying. I know the last time we got preggo I had increased water intake too. So maybe what I'm doing and drinking is the key.

So glad your cycles are back on track! I wonder why your doctor prescribed met if not for insulin resistance? Does it do something else?

Yes it can also be used for weight loss even though you don't need it for insulin problems. She just said it'll make me "more" fertile. I said how can I be fertile if the crap causes me not to ovulate. So I got off of them. But I'm glad I got it back on track too. I was worried for a while that they would stay messed up and my ovulation would be messed up as well.
