How far PP are you? I had one and it hurt maybe the first couple times (around 5-6 weeks PP was the first time we had sex) but other than that, no pain.

How many weeks postpartum are you? I had a tear that required stitches, and I was 8 weeks PP before sex stopped hurting. It took a few more weeks before it stopped being uncomfortable. We just took it slow and stuck to positions that didn't hurt.

i am 7 months postpartum

It was a long time before I felt "normal". Not so much as painful after awhile but just "uncomfortable". Give it time. you have to get used to your "new" body

Wow 7 months PP seems like an awfully long time for it to still be hurting!

no infections or anything, i have regular check ups and dr says everything is fine.

the only way i can describe it is like losing my virginity every time ( LOL)
is it possible i was sewn up "too tight" ?
my SO is considerably "large" but before the baby we never had problems

That would be my thought, yeah.

its the only thing i can think of , i did have three layers of stitches, and alot of them.
guess its back to the doctor i go to see if theres anything i can do.

Yeah it might just take you some time to "stretch" back out to comfort level.
