Blah depo...

I just started the Depo shot yesterday and now I am hearing terrible things about it... someone reassure me?? please??

dont listen to the horror stories, it affects all women differently. yes some women have had bad experiences but others enjoy the affects.myself, i like being on the depo

It just seemed so much more convenient and I am horrible at remembering things. Thanks=] I guess I will see how it goes.

This! the only affect it had o me was it stopped my period and I gained like 2 pounds. it worked fine for me. Right after I stopped it my period came right on.

I have nothing good to say about the depo shot. Sorry.

I'm one of the many with bad experiences about the shot.
Mood swings
Weight gain
Headaches
Weakness

i had no effects

I had one of them because I knew I couldn't do the pill (I couldn't trust myself taking it. )and at the time there was no one nearby who could give me Implanon.

I did fine. No period. No weight gain. No complications.
Then I got Implanon.

I was on the depo for 2 and a half years. Only problem I had was that I gained a bunch of weight. Nothing else. But I also didn't try to keep it off.

It affects everyone differently, for me I LOVED IT, I had no ill side affects at all and lost weight on it.

They were gonna give me the depo before they inserted my Implanon too. But I still had a nuvaring to last me till they could squeeze me in.

i just dislike people who just because they didnt like it, try to convince to poster itll be horrible for any woman that takes it and theyll have the same negative affects

Dude me too. I hated, mirena, but I'm not running around shouting ow its the devil and no one should ever use it- it didn't work for me, that's all
