Quoting snglemama:" I believe in a balance of both. I think if we take careof ourselves... we'd have a better immune system. ... [snip!] ... run to the doctor everytime someone gets a sniffle. It's my last resort when upping vitamins and healthy living aren't enough"
I like to live a life of 80% good and and 20% bad. You aren't going to get away from all the junk in our lives. Really we are only human but it is the ones that refuse to eat anything healthy they are the ones that are sitting in the waiting rooms. I choose to not be one of them.
I haven't always been like this but as I have gotten older and done research and started on a healthier lifestyle I noticed the change in my body.
You do still need Dr's in some sense just not for common colds and when everything else fails that you did at home and it didn't work. But i find most of the time it does work. I haven't been on a antibiotic myself for 2 years.
