Weight gain during pregnancy/stretch marks

I was considered "over-weight" when i got pregnant (164 lbs) and now at 34 weeks I have only gained 4 lbs total. Our baby is estimated to weight 5 lbs 6oz so its literally all baby.

Could the lack of weight gain to compensate my stretching belly have anything to do with a TON of new stretch marks under my belly button?

I only got 8 stretch marks with my first and they were on my sides and not noticeable, but didn't even show up until i had given birth.

I'm super self conscious and they are just bothering me lately and it's all I can think about  

Is baby sitting low? I carried high with dd1 and web she dropped thrs when ingot my lower belly stretch marks.

I feel like she's pretty low. I started getting the marks under my belly button around 27 weeks

You also could have grown faster being as its your second child as well.
