Coming Home Outfit

It took me a while to find a coming home outfit I was really happy with. I knew I wanted her in a dress but I want her warm too. However here lately we are having nice weather. But that could change so I am being extra prepared.

VERY cute! That winter jacket looks HUGE though! I remember when the twins were born, I had such cute going home outfits picked out but they were only 4lbs 9oz and 5lbs 11oz when they came home so they didn't fit.   I had to have someone run out for me to get me some preemie clothes.

So cute! Just make sure you take that adorable jacket off before you put her in the car seat! ;-)

oh I understand! My LO was born Sept 13... it was still pretty warm the day I went to the hospital, but when we came home a cold front had came through and it was only in the 60s.    Luckily, I had a long sleeved onesie with us!

The coming home outfit is a pain in the ass to get on. And the arms were too small. I ended up taking it off DD and putting her in something else. I was super disappointed too cause it was soooo dang cute!

Will do. I am having the thermostat changed on my car this weekend to make sure it is going to be warm enough in there for her so she won't need the coat. The coat is cute but I know she can't wear it in her car seat. However we are planning on stopping and getting her photos done on the way home. That is why I am packing it.

It was just a pain to get on and it just felt like to much to sit in the carseat and come home so instead i put her in this. It says Little Sister on the front.

But those outfits are both so cute!

I saw a photo of a baby wearing it at my doctor's office like two weeks ago, but I had already had it picked out.

I got the dress at JC Penny's, shoes and stockings from Wal-Mart, the coat from the Children's Store, and SO just picked up the headband yesterday while we were at Crackle Barrel. The Zebra outfit came from Wal-Mart.com.

They're both cute outfits. But, I would switch them. Let her wear the pretty dress for pics & take her home in something comfy!!!

Well I am not sure I am buying the hospital photo package yet. I know I want to stop on the way home and get photos of her and us together which is why I went with the dress. I did pack a back up sleeper and another outfit just in case the dress doesn't work for her.
