Please go back and quote where I specifically stated that I thought it was rude myself. I have yet to state my own smurfing opinion on it. Why don't you take a step back and pull your head out of your ass?

I have been there, done that. My husband and I were living in a TENT in July. In August we were put up in an extended stay efficiency motel by a POLICE OFFICER as an act of merciful KINDNESS. We have since moved into our own apartment and are slowly acquiring everything we need for our own baby. Smurf, for all you know I could have been asking for myself. I'm one of the last people to judge anyone who needs help. I have given when I really had no room to give simply because I know how miserable it is to go without.

you are super defensive, I did not even read all of that. how about you read what I said... I said your post "Comes off as" judgemental. As in they way it is written, no where did you say that you WERENT the one that thinks it seems rude or like begging....either. so I guess both of our posts were up for interpretations on the readers side.

I'm super defensive because anyone who knows me knows that I'm one of the last people to judge any person in need. Like I said, I have gone without, have suffered through miserable hardships and have been shown kindness that to this day still flabbergasts me. I didn't appreciate being told that my post came off as judgemental when there was no opinion stated to be taken as a judgment. At all.

I just wwent back and reread What I sent to you. Nothing in it is offensive. Iu put in there that it "comes off" as judgmental specifically in case you didnt mean for it to be. And you also worded it that people are "begging" for expensive items and usually when people refer to begging instead of asking when someone is looking for help its usually because they think its unwarranted. Take note in my use of the word "usually"

EDIT: you are reading too much into what I wrote and probably taking it in with a mean "tone" that I didnt have when I wrote it. Just like I thought yours came off judgemental when you probably did not write it in that kind of "tone". The composition of sentences over the internet can be easily misinterpreted..

Maybe I'm just a bit sensitive about the entire topic when it comes to people being in need. Like I mentioned before, I have been down that road myself. I wouldn't wish poverty and indigency on anyone. I didn't mean begging to come off as a negative word. I admit I could have chosen my words better, but on that same note...it actually is considered begging.

I often post stuff like this because I'm curious how people view these things as a whole. I see something that could be controversial and think it might make a good topic here on BG. Stuff to venture away from the standard political and religious debates.

I've been amazed how strong you were your whole pregnancy. It bothers me to see someone say you don't know how hard it is and are judge mental, when they assumed something and didnt know your story and was acting judgmental. Very hypocritical. I hope you're doing well!

my post says "comes off as judgmental" I never once said that SHE didnt know how hard it is and the ONLY assumption I can be held accontable for is that I said if she looked at it from a different point of view she might not see it as begging so in that sentence there I "assumed" she thought of people as begging instead of asking for help. It's seriously being read into more thant it should be and at this point it seems that youre reaching and looking for an argument or something to defend. I said to her and explained that my comment was not written in that tone. Done and over with.
