what could be wrong?

Ive already been past my limit with DDs sleeping. Everyone says something about it too. She woke up at 930am yesterday and its 545am the next day and she still wont sleep. This happens all the time. Also her sleep is very broken.

If so I'd talk to her dr about melatonin supplements or something. That can't be healthy  

She can stay awake longer than a day. She actually just just fell asleep but she'll be up between 7 and 930am again. ugh.................

Ive been telling her about my sleep troubles with her since she was born. Shes 3 now btw. She suggested bebadryl. Ive treid that. It sometimes doesnt work and when it does only for a short time.

Find a different doc if yours is suggesting benedryl. That is horrible. Talk to a different doc about Melatonin.

I think people dont belive me sometimes because Im a young mom. CanI just give her melatonin on my own?

Childhood insomnia is the first thing that came to my mind.

OP my friends dd had childhood insomnia, she would stay away for 20-28 hours sometimes. The Dr put her on sleeping pills at the age of 2-3 yrs old, melatonen didnt help at all. That stuff doesnt even help with my insomnia lol .

I would bring her to see a regular Dr not a pedi, they are not skilled in that area.

she starting to wake up again. idk how I could ever have another newborn when mine still sleeps like one lol =(.
