I'm so nervous! Help

posted 12th Jan
Hello mommies and mommies to be! I just recently found out that I am pregnant, 5 weeks pregnant. It's a funny feeling when your so used to seeing other people pregnant and touch their bellies, and say awww but when it's you its like whoaaa. There are so many complications to worry about such as miscarriage. I don't even know what kinds of foods to eat and not eat! If you can tell I'm very nervous because soon i'll become somebody's mom. I'm just looking for comfort. Has anybody feeling or have felt the way I feel? Is it normal to worry this much?

Yes, it's normal. My last 3 pregnancies ended in miscarriage, so I worry every day. Your first step should be to start taking prenatal vitamins, particularly folic acid, and to find an OB. What to eat and not eat is subjective. Just eat healthy and make sure you're drinking plenty of water. Good luck!

Its very normal to worry during your first pregnancy. The best advice I can give is don't worry and read up as much as you can about pregnancy/labour. Its always best to be well informed.

As for what you can and can't eat, Google is fab for information .
