My choice for book club

DH fell asleep and I'm wide awake, so forgive me for my posting frenzy :~

I am hosting my book club this Saturday and its my turn to pick the book. I just read a few books over vacation and don't want to reread them yet even though they were all excellent. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good read that can support a good discussion?

A thousand splendid suns. I can't remember the authors name but he wrote the kite runner too. Sarah's key. The almost moon. The poison wood bible. Those who save us.

Khaled Housseini, apparently.

Those all look right up my alley. I even recognize the cover of 1000SS. Must have been something I almost bought in the past.
