is 1 week too soon?

posted 12th Jan
Im 8 days pp and it feels like the stitches from my episiotomy are healing already im not sure how many i got but im feeling so much better , i can pee and poo with no problems at all , its a little uncomfy to sit on just one small area i think one of the stiches is probably healing slower than the rest but other than that i feel great, even tho i still walk really slow and becareful while i sit or get up in fear of tearing something, could i be healing already or is it to soon? How long before you mommas felt normal again or began to heal?

I had a third degree. The pain went away at about 3 weeks but I had a lot of trauma to my junk. (Pelvic organ prolapse)

I think I had like 3 stiches with my last and I was feeling better by the first week..however because my delivery went so well I had my pp visit at 4weeks and they said my stiches are steal healing but I was ok'ed to go back to work. So try not to over do it even tho you are feeling better at least the first 2 weeks. you will notice more bleeding you do with more activity and sometimes that can irritate the area too..

I tore with my oldest and had 5 stitches so it wasn't to bad. I was up and out of the bed 15 mins after getting the stitches lol. He was retracting his chest and turning grayish blue so they took him to the nursery to give him some extra help. I wanted to see my baby! I never really had any problems with the stitches or healing. The only thing that got me was the pressure on my whoo ha from icepack pads when I leaned forward to stand up.
