Has anyone tired this diet before?
I've been talking to my dad about weightloss for a long time he knows how hard its been on be me, Well anyone his girlfriend tired this and had great success and he texted me tonight saying he would pay of it if I looked into it and wanted to try it.
I heard thats its really unhealthy because you have to reset your system by only eating 500 calories or less.
True or False?

Bad idea you are starving your body. Your body goes into starvation mode if you stop that "diet" and start to eat more calories your body will think it's going to happen again and it will start to store fat (around belly, tighs, etc). Depending on your body type you might need 1500-2000 calories just for your body to operate properly.

Incredibly unhealthy and one of the WORST diets out there for you. If you really want to do it right, lifestyle change is in order. Proper foods and proper meals. Try clean eating. Watch the calorie intake and exercise.

You are only supposed.to eat 500 calories. It puts you in starvation mode and that is what makes you lose the weight. Not HGC. It's very unhealthy and you will gain the weight back easier and much faster.

Tell your dad that you would rather he pay for a gym membership that has a trainer and a nutritionist with it. Get in a new life routine and you will see a massive change.

anything that you can buy isn't worth it. YOU NEED A LIFESTYLE CHANGE NOT A DIET!

I have never done it yet but my sister is doing right now and she is having great success. I'm not sure about what the calorie intake is but i know they do have a strict healthy eating guide they have you follow. But any crash diet you do is unhealthy for you one way or another.

I wouldn't do it. It seems very unhealthy. My brother was misdiagnosed as being type 2 diabetic. He went from 140 lbs to 130 lbs in 2 months on the diabetic diet. It's actually really healthy and even though he is not diabetic will be sticking to the diet. He feels wonderful now. I would suggest something like that. An attainable healthy diet with a work out routine. He goes to the gym 3 days a week. He hasn't gained anything back.

Those are all fad things that don't work.

You sound like me. I struggled to drop weight. I just couldn't do it. I sat down with a notebook. Everytime I ate something I wrote it in my notebook. I wrote what it was, how much and what time. That included tastes while I cooked, grazing during the day, and off the kids plates (we all do it). I was shocked at what I was eating. One day I would be lucky to eat 600 calories and the next I could be upwards of 2500. I could have really healthy days and I could have junk days. I ate late at night after the kids were in bed because I had forgotten all day ect....

His GF will gain it all back and synthetic hormones are awful to put in your body. It isn't FDA regulated. Your dad needs to understand that.

Some gyms actually offer that as a package. So your membership could be like $50/ month or so and you have the trainer for x amount of times and the nutritionist plans your meals for you in the first month or whatever. Your best bet is to call around and see what is available in your area. This way, you get yourself healthy not skinny and loaded with synthetic garbage. If your dad is worried about you, the last thing he would want is for you to injest something that could possibly cause you harm.

i would just call around for prices and tell him that is what you want rather than a fad diet. Plus, you will be much healthier!
