If you were comfortable with your figure

Would you wear something like this?

I am not comfortable with my body at all, and am currently on a diet.
"SO" sent me this as something he'd like me to wear on valentines day... Not sure how I feel about it.

No, because I am lacking boobs, so I feel like I'd look weird in something like that. But if it weren't for that mesh part, sure.

I understand. DH doesn't understand that I'm not totally comfortable with my body. I general agreement is that I will wear anything he wants in the bedroom, but I have limits on things I wear in public. If I don't feel comfortable in it, then I don't leave the house in it.
I think it's a cute dress, but that cut is hard to pull off. I would try it on, but I probably wouldn't wear it.

I'd wear it. It is not all that bad.

I am comfortable with my body, and I would not wear that. I don't like it
quoteposted 11th Jan
Nope, not my style at all.

Something like that I would have to try on before ordering.
I am comfortable with my weight but not necessarily my shape. When I'm not pregnant I have no hips and no boobs so that dress would look stupid on me I think.
Isn't it weird that he's looking up dresses for you? lol
quoteposted 11th Jan
I wouldn't. That hip part really only looks good on certain body types, and mine is not it. haha

I agree with this 100%. I can't even get my husband to look at something I am in to give me an honest opinion if he likes it or not.. I use to always wear ripped jeans when I first met DH, only to find out later he didn't really care for them. crazy DH

I'm not comfortable with my body but if I was, I wouldn't wear that anyways just because it's not my style. I won't wear anything revealing or nice until I can lose some weight. Only thing I wear right now is lose t-shirts and stretchy pants or jeans.

Yes. Lol apparently he saw it in the window in the mall and "had" to find it for me.
That peplum style most likely won't flatter a sagging kangaroo pouch of a belly like I have haha

My SO would not want me to wear that he would actually get mad.. but ya if I was still skinny I would not wear it either. It looks a lil slutty to me

I think that's one of those dresses only someone like Kim Kardashian would look good in lol
quoteposted 12th Jan
I wouldn't wear it because the frill part at the bottom would make my hips look bigger than they are, I think.
But without that, yes I would wear it.

didn't you watch the "Tiffany" episode of What Not to Wear last week? Peplums are great for hiding a "pouch"
That dress is really pretty, I would love to wear it...and I think it shows how you look in your SO's eyes, he thinks you are sexy, even if you don't feel the same about your body. I would wear it for him..or maybe something else he picked out that I was more comfortable with...or have him get you a sexy negligee instead?
