re-post--loss of libido and pain during sex

So this past month I have had almost no sex drive when i usually have a very high libido. It's been painful when my SO and i have sex to the point to where i've had to tell him to stop a couple of times. I can tell that it's really getting to him and it's really frustrating me too. This is so unlike me. Any ideas ladies? I just had my period this past week if that helps any.

Do you have an infection of sorts that makes it painful? Depression perhaps?

I would like to know this too. My son is 4 months now and since having him I have no sex drive its not painful just not interested. It sucks because I have always been a very sexual person.

Possibly due to hormones or stress...could cause less lubrication. Might try some lube. If it continues I'd see doctor about it.

That is hormonal. I went thru that after my twins. It was actually a year long. TBH, after I got pregnant with my son (he is now 2) it is still pretty much the same way. I think for me, it is that I had to try so hard to get pregnant that sex lost the point of being fun and I am consumed constantly with kids that I am petrified of them walking in or what not. When they are gone or hubby and I are in a hotel and they are with gramma or something, it is like I am a hormonal drunk college girl. lol
