dental surgery

DS got dental surgery last Friday. I just brushed his teeth and they bled and hurt him, they still look a bit swollen. Normal? Or call the dentist?

What type of surgery and were there sutures?

I don't think so. He got caps on 6 teeth I believe

Oh, okay. Were the gums bleeding as if they were brushed too hard, or is it pouring out of the mouth? It's been a week, and I'm sure his gums are pretty sensitive after having that done still. I'd say normal, but I'd just phone in the Dentist anyway and ask.
