Yes, five days a week.

What do you mean with it being a lot? Like I should just focus on one subject a day?

I agree it seems like a long day when most preschools run only a few hours at a time. But then again there is a lot of down time in there so maybe its not so bad. I think more story time would be beneficial

yea and i would sort of base it with how into they are with certain things as well. have like a theme of the week like numbers, letters, ect. just seems like a very long day to be schedule schedule schedule and switching from one thing to another, least for me personally

Oh, okay.

I do have two story times. One is counted with Circle Time. Does that make a difference?

Oh, okay. I do have a theme. I start having her on Monday, so I am rushing to get things done and ready for her. We are doing "All About Me" this week.

TBH it seems way too heavily structured. Where's the free play? Where's the spontaneity? Where does he get to be a kid off of mommy's schedule?

There is 5 hours and 30 minutes (give or take) of free play for Tori. Tori is a little girl I am getting paid to take care of and she will be starting school in September.

Chris is only 15 months old and wont be following the routine as much as Tori and I will. He will probably finger paint with us and do some sensory activities.

It isnt set in stone, I have plenty of room to play with if an activity goes on for too long or not long enough. Kids just thrive off routine and consistency and learn more during the late morning hours.
