WHY, mom? why?

posted 11th Jan
When do they grow out of the "Why?" stage of always asking questions. My daughters newest thing is asking what street we're on when I'm driving. But she asks about 20 different times during a short trip. It's so annoying lol!!!

My 4 year old is a backseat driver. If we're at a red light and it turns green she instantly says, "Green means GO."

Ugh, I hear you. My son is newly 4 and just hit the "why" phase. And whenever we go anywhere in the car, he talks the entire way. It's always questions, too, so I can't get away with tuning him out. "What time is it, Mommy? What way are turning? How many minutes until we get there?"

LOL, it drives me nuts when Alyssa does it!

If traffic slows down she'll ask, "Why are we driving so slow? Go Faster!"

LOL. I know how you feel! Alyssa complains about stopping. I swear she has a need for speed (And she gets it from her dad).

We went through this one phase where he was fascinated with air conditioners. He had to point out every house we passed that had an air conditioner in the window. And then last month, it was Christmas lights.

My daughter's turning three in a couple of weeks and she seems to be out of it. I remember it lasting a couple of months, though. I guess it really depends on the child.
