Sick??

My son has been complaining with his stomach hurting. The other day his tummy was bothering him and he threw up all over the living room at my mom's... since then, he'll barely eat because he's scared it's going to make him sick. He hasn't been running fever, but my mother said he had diarrhea last night. And tonight he didn't want to eat anything. After school we took him to McDonald's and he didn't want to eat anything, but he wanted ice cream. He didn't eat any supper, just a little bit of yogurt. He isn't running fever or anything, but he's still complaining with his tummy hurting. Because of how it looked when he threw up, we chocked it up to eating too much chocolate, but with him still complaining with his tummy hurting, I'm starting to think something else. What does it sound like to you?

Sounds like a stomach bug. Try to at least get him to drink plenty if fluids.

That's what I'm thinkin. I know there's a "flu" virus (from what I've heard...) going around like crazy, but I'm not sure.

Might be the stomach virus. I had it when I was younger similar symptoms. Hope he feels better soon.

Could just be a stomach virus (like norovirus or rotavirus). It's going around everywhere up here. How many days has it been? It usually only lasts a couple of days. I've had it twice, lasted two days for me, but a bit longer for my two year old.

most definitely making sure he's drinking plenty of water or juice. (He drinks a good bit of juice...)

He's been complaining with his tummy hurting Tuesday, when he threw up all over the living room. From what I was told, it looked like he had thrown up pure chocolate, but that's how it looks (tmi, sorry) when my dad vomits, too. So I'm thinking either that scared him or he's really sick. I'm starting to think he may have a virus going. I really hope not. Bless his heart.

Could be reflux. Bless his heart. If it didn't seem to get better I would make a trip to doc within the next week or so. If its virus it should get better pretty quick.

I just hope he feels better soon. I don't like seeing my baby like this. I mean, he doesn't ACT like he feels bad, but he complains with his tummy hurting all the time. (like I do, but mine's another reason heh)
