thank you, me too, i never said that things like what happened to your friend didnt happen i just said that typically when you are 4cm dilated that is concidered active labor, every doctor i have seen has told me this, every website i looked on told me that and every pregnancy book i have. some people just dont know how to agree to disagree. it gets my hormones in a bunch lol.

lol , i end up having to do everything, im a single momma so i dont really rely on anyone but myself. and only an hour! lucky. my doctor told me it could take a couple hours to dilate enough or it could be weeks, its been days already. the same thing happened to my friend it took her 2 weeks to dilate enough .

Its okay, I'm pretty overwhelmed myself and I get a little fustrated when I'm overwhelmed but my situation is a bit different from yours tho. But hopefully your contractions will soon be regular.

ya i know i thought at least a couples hours for sure for labour nope she was like screw this lets go! lol and ive heard of ppl being in early labour for weeks ....oh that would be awful

lol, it is, i have been a raging bitch for awhile now. i have an appointment on tuesday and i dont know what my doctor plans on doing, shes prolly just gunna make me suffer. lol .

Your also feeling overwhelmed because of your hormones. Have you tried walking to help jump start labor and hopefully get your contractions regular. I know its hard to walk when your in pain. My first pregnancy I was young and all I did for three days was walk because i was still have contractions but with my daughter, the last month of my pregnancy I was "suppose" to be on bed rest but with two little boys, its kinda hard but when I was in Labor, it went quick but I had also done something with my fiance which caused my mucus plug to go... That was at 12am, and I had her at 4:08am.

actually i havent tried anything yet, i live out in the country so i normally wait till im in town to walk but the last few times i have gone to town its been so nasty out that i didnt go. i've been meaning to though.

I live in the country too.. Back in the woods, down a dirt road so I walk my dirt road and since my truck has been broken down for 2.5 weeks now, all I have is my feet to get to my moms unless I call her.

lol you know how it is! i dont have a drivers license before i was pregnant and i lived with my parents , i must have been about 16 i would walk 8 miles to town if i couldnt get a ride.

Wow. I think its about the same distances my house to the little town where I live. My parents live 2 miles from me so its not that far but with two little boys.. (4 years and 3 years old) and infant, its a little hectic.. But I've had my license since i was 16, my first car -- Over heated doing 60mph with no AC or Heat. Gas gauge didn't work either.. My second car -- It needed transmission oil every week. Third car -- Needed motor oil every week. My vehicle now... Well last year, Crank shaft went out $680 out of pocket(thank goodness for income taxes). This year.. Timing belt went out and its costing us $200 bucks outta pocket.. So thats why I'm without a vehicle right now.
