6wk pp appointment..

So i went to my appointment this morning and my doctor has decided that she is treating me with zoloft for depression and ocd. she also has me taking an anti inflammatory for my hips and knees for 10 days and if that doesn't work, then we try steroid shots..sweet. i'm kind of nervous about the zoloft, i have never taken it before and even though i had a 'script for prozac once a couple years ago, some things came up and i wasn't actually able to take it. i have always struggled with depression, anxiety and ocd but i have never taken anything for it because i was too scared to, and when i was younger my dad was really against me and my brother being medicated. i have wait two days for my test results for my thyroid to make sure it's not that for sure (but i'm 99.99% it isn't). i really hope it helps. i am terribly irritable, and i have such a hard time falling asleep, staying asleep and waking up and i just feel so wrong..on the upside however, i get to go on the 28th and get my implanon and if that doesn't work for me then i'm getting mirena..super excited to be able to have sex with my husband without a condom soon! lol. sorry for the pointless post..i guess i just felt like sharing, thanks for taking the time to read if you did(:
