biting?

My daughter bit me today. She looked so frustrated, which Im sure comes along with being overly tired and not really being able to express herself. It just really shocked me. She has never bit before. She was doing so good with telling us when she's mad. We always talk about using our words and not hitting...well now biting.

Lots of kids go through biting stages. Suggestions? (I will NOT bite back so please refrain from that suggestion) Did your LO randomly start?

My LO bit me, he's 21 months, for the first time.
I could see the frustration in his face. I didn't completely get onto him, since I knew he was upset with something.

He's never bit me since, so I'm not sure. *watching*

Were you shocked? I felt dumbstruck for a second, not knowing how to react. Then later on she got frustrated again and bit the couch.

Completely shocked, since I've never bit him (obviously) and he's never been around anyone who bites. I'm not sure where he's seen it. Maybe her teeth hurt?

That's what gets me too, she's not around anyone that bites either. I guess we will see if this was like a one day thing or if it continues.
