Clomid with high testosterone?

Can you take Clomid if you have high levels of testosterone? Will it work or is it not even worth trying?

How high? I have PCOS so I had high testosterone levels and Clomid worked.

In Feb 2012 my androgen level was 4.8 and my Dr said anything below 2.6 was normal. I had bloods done on Thursday and I go back for results on Wednesday. I don't feel like there has been a dramatic change though, so I'm guessing it would still be in the 4 range.
I was on cyproterone acetate for about 12 months in 2011 but as soon as I stopped it my level went back up. I'm really at a loss at the moment. SO and I have been ttc almost 18 months and I'm sick of nothing happening. My Dr seems to think I'm not ovulating
