Accept the help and be appreciative of it. It sounds like it could be a lot worse, and it is for many young moms. Twins is going to be an especially difficult challenge for you and you'll need all the support you can get. And know that your life will be different, you're not going to be a normal 16 year old anymore, you're going to be a mom, and raising those babies will be the most important responsibility you have. Accept help, but be their mother. You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders, and like you'll be okay. My mom had me at 16, and she left raising me to my grandparents, she wasn't ready to not be a teenager anymore, she was not a good mother and we've never really had a relationship. My grandmother has always been who I considered mom. Don't let that be you, don't be selfish, be selfless. Don't be the mom her kids grow up swearing to never be. I wish you luck!

I would except the help. Its nice when you get help! Cause you seriously start to go crazy when every night your baby wakes up every 2 hours. You start to get sleep deprived and then have a hard time going to sleep at night. And you're having two, which is going to be even harder.

I've been doing it for 5 weeks now and I have a hard time falling asleep at night, I can be tired and then as soon as its like 12am I'm wide awake. I'm exhausted during the day and just wanna sleep all day.

I don't exactly need help, but she begs to watch my son and says to except help when offered, that she never got help and wished she had so she could have gotten some time away to destress. That also allows me time to take a shower and get some sleep, and clean my apt, and eat. You seriously have like no time to do anything, not even pee. I walk out of the room and he'll start crying.

accept their help you are going to need it, they have you and your babys in mind. you have the right out look on the situation though, its going to be hard. im 18, and i have no help from my daughters father since he is in jail, and im struggling. i have help from my parents and it helps a lot. On the grounds that, it was her first and only post, through out the thread she went from saying babies as in twins, to 'going to have a kid' as in one baby. The subject of te topic is just screaming READ THIS, I want everyone's attention. Then she says she doesn't want to accept help/won't need it from her parents, if she had any idea how hard it is raising two babies at one time she would be far from saying something like that.

Maybe she is indeed genuine, but my spidey senses got tingling.
