My soon to be 6 month old son, will be coming with us (obviously) as we move across the country. We'll be taking a 5 hour plane trip and then driving for 4 hours, staying a couple of days in hotels in my hometown and then driving another 6 hours to get to our new home. We'll be in Indiana and Illinois, so depending on weather, we may need more hotel stays than that. He's a pretty big boy and he moves around a lot when sleeping. What would you guys recommend he sleep in for hotel stays? I don't want to use hotel cribs and he does not co-sleep. At home he sleeps in the bassinet part of a pack n play.
That would be ideal. However, I've only flown once and it was about 17 years ago in 8th grade so I'm not sure how everything works. I'm still trying to figure out what we can and cannot check baggage wise.
Google baby rental items in the areas you will be traveling to. I am going to CO in a few months with my LO, and I researched it and they are VERY cheap! You can rent all sorts of things for under $5 per day. And that was at several different companies I found.
