I am making LO a light table and just ordered her the clear colored plastic shapes to go with it. If you are interested I can tell you how.

It's pretty easy, you just get one of those clear plastic storage containers, the flat ones that fit under a bed, and you tape off the bottom on the inside, then spray paint the sides on the inside silver to reflect the light up. When it's dry you take the tape off the bottom inside so it should still be clear plastic without paint. Then you fill the inside with some clear/white Christmas lights (with white cords, not green cords so you can't see them trough the plastic) then cut a little hole somewhere for the cord to go through, but the lid back on, flip it upside down and you have a light table! You can also spray paint the bottom inside with some "frosted glass" spray paint so the light is a little softer/blurry.
