What would you do?

So, since LO was a couple months old if my mom wanted to take him anywhere she always makes us put the car seat in her car. She has a 2 door Jeep Wrangler by the way. She refuses to learn how to put it in. When I told her to buy a car seat and leave it in there already she says that she will. This was a year ago when I first told her. I've told her over and over since then. Still hasn't. Well last weekend we got into a fight and I told her we were tired if pulling the seat out of our car and putting it in her car. She flipped out. What if while my son was at her house he hurts himself and needs to go to the ER? And the seat isn't in her car and she doesn't know how to put one in?
Thoughts please?

U could buy a cheap one for her car... I bought my second seat for my second car or my moms car. I didnt make her buy it.

More than likely she knows how, just doesn't want to.... I mean, seriously its not rocket science.

Buy her one then put it in and have her leave it in her car. It's not really her responsibility to buy a carseat for her car because you guys are tired of transferring

Buy one for her. Is not her responsibility to buy a car seat

I didn't answer the poll.
It's not her kid- not her responsibility to buy a car seat for your child. She's right IMO. Not about refusing to learn how to install the seat, but in her possibly needing a seat.
Buy her a seat for her car.

She should learn to install it, however, she doesn't have to buy one if she doesn't want to. My grandma and mom bought one to share because they chose to. SO's parents have 4 grandkids and won't buy one. We just let them use our spare.

Eh, I always transfer LO's carseat into her grandmas cars. One doesn't have any idea how to put it in, and the other does. It doesn't bother me at all, as long as no one forgets to give it back to me, lol.

I bought one for my mom's car. IMO it's your responsibility to provide for your child's needs when they're not in your care, and that includes a safe way to transport them. She needs to learn to put it in safely though.
