its 9 months but my mom went to 10 months with me lol i guess thats why some people think its 10 when its 9 40 weeks but some have them at 37 or 39 weeks

If you're going by lunar months, then yes, it's 10 months. There are 28 days in a lunar month. If you go by the Gregorian calendar, then it's 9 months because not every month has the same amount of days.

People say pregnancy is technically 10 months because 40 weeks is the end of the ninth month
