TTC too early?

I'm trying to get pregnant again, I'm 20 with already One Child.

I've really put thought into it and so has my SO,
I've told seldom people, maybe 2 , that i'm trying again and they freaked...
I really want my children's ages together, about a year or two apart?
Financially we're fine and mentally stable and ready for another one, but my friends think i am too young to have 2?

Are you just excited about the idea of having your children close together in age or are you really ready for the responsibilty of two? I had my first when I was 16 and I had always said I wanted my children to be very close in age, but obviously that plan was changed. I'm 25 now, college graduate,married, own my home, own my car, have a steady job for the last 5 years, and we are 21 weeks pregnant with our second. As much as I wanted my son to have a very close bond (and age group) to his siblings, I think it was best that I waited and worked to give both of my babies the best I could. But it is your life definitely, and you should not let others deter you.

If you guys are in a stable committed relationship and are able to afford another baby, who cares what other people think? I think part of being a parent is learning how to ignore people's well intentioned but bad advice and make our own decisions. ;) Good luck!

My SO really wants me to be just a stay at home mother, and i really want another baby, the responsibility. I just feel empty without my second one. I've always wanted 2 kids, close together. Im just really ready for another one.

I'll be 23 when I have this baby and my kids will be 3 years apart and everyone still thinks I'm too young to have another baby....do what you want to do, if you act like a typical 20 year old I'd tell you to wait but if not have fun with it.

Have kids if you want kids.

Well then, I don't think it matters what others think. If you and your SO are ready for another one and you both want the same things, then what other people say should just go in one ear and out the other. Everyone always thinks they know what's best for EVERYONE lol.

my mom had all three of her kids by the time she was 23. she got hell for all of us. it worked out, though. my brothers and i were pretty close and even closer now that we're older.

Im 25 working on number 4, if that tells you anything!!!
