I've never heard of anyone flushing their tampons lol. I usually take them out with some toilet paper. Wrap them in a lot more toilet paper and throw it in the trash can. I don't see why it would be so gross.

I don't think you're even suppose to flush a tampon. Wrap them up in toilet paper and put them in a small trash can in the bathroom. Take the trash out to the dumpster/big garbage can every night.

I have a pretty high pain tolerance, and they're really not like horrible. But, if I'm at work when it starts, it really really sucks ass.

I've also heard you're not supposed to flush them in sewer systems and some plumbers say it's fine while others say it's not. But I've been doing it for 28 years and that's probably why it grosses me out so much now because I'm not used to not being able to just flush and forget it. With a septic system it's a definite no-no though.

Yeah, we can't even flush TOILET PAPER at my mil/fil's house......we just have to throw it in the trash. I will admit, if I ever go #2 there or and on my period, I'm smurfing flushing that smurf.

Okay I don't think I could get used to that, haha. Not gonna use reusable TP either. I'm just not crunchy enough for that.

Haha yeah I saw it on one of those shows about extreme frugality.

You cant flush tampons because they will block the pipes and cause a back up... I have always just used TP and put it in the trash... take the trash out daily with you are putting things like that in it

It's a silicone "cup" looking thing you insert to collect blood. You only empty it twice a day.
