Sick and won't tell Daddy?

posted 11th Jan
So, I have two girls their 7 & 8 me and thwir Father have been split for 6 years and he takes them 3 nights a week every week we've had this schedule for 4 years and has worked out well. He comes to all of their games and is very involved in their life.... He lives with his gf her son and a 3 year son he had with another women. So I wondering if anyone else has this problem when my girls are sick they don't tell their Dad for instance lastnight my daughters were at his house and my 7 year old vomited in her bed and didn't tell her Dad he decided not to take her to school this morning when he realised she also had diarrhea. She had diarrhea a few weeks ago for 3 days the 3 days she was at his house and he had no clue I called him and said did you know your daughter has been sick during her whike visit with you, he said no she didn't tell me. We both talked to out girls and let them know how important it was to let their Dad know they were feeling sick even my older one said its just not the same with Daddy I don't want to tell him. So, my question is does anyone else's children do this?? We've.already talked to them but then this incident happened lastnight with getting sick and not telling him I wondering if any other Mommies have suggestions?

I still have this issue with my mom....
its just how she acts about it even when I am sick or when she does take it seriously and help not saying your BD is like that your kids just may not like telling him because of how he reacted once and didnt realize it or mabe he has different methods than you since being a mommy your approach is guaranteed to be different and thats what they prefer

Its just strange to me. They would tell my fiance if they got sick in bed. I honestly think it has to do with him not being as affectionate with them. We've been spilt since our 7 year old was 6 months old so she never really felt that special bond with her Daddy I'm wondering if that's why its so hard for them. I'm starting to stress cause what's going to happen when they start their periods and their with him and not me?? And he's been with his gf for 3 years why don't they feel comfortable with her?
