Dinnr Ideas?

posted 11th Jan
I'm so tired of eating the same old boring things for dinner. We usually go for the quick and easy things like chicken burgers, helper meals (tuna, hamburger or chicken), hot dogs, baked chicken with veggies, tacos, tuna melts.. But now that I'm expecting again I'm so tired of it all and I actually find myself wanting to cook. So I'm looking for some new ideas. Not super expensive and not super complex. I am a good cook and can follow complex things but with SO working and watching 2 LOs (3 and 1yrs old) something not so complex might be easier. Doesn't matter what the meat is; chicken, pork, hamburger we eat it all (:

This! Pinterest is honestly where I get a majority of my recipes.
This week we are having/have had: Spaghetti and meatballs, Garlic chicken puffs, Spinach lasagna roll-ups, Salmon cakes, Parmesan pork chops, Chicken in a basil cream sauce, and Shepherd's Pie.

I'm tired of the same things too! lol. We have fried pork chops, shake n bake pork chops, BBQ chicken, Steak (we usually marinate it all day), shake n bake chicken, Spaghetti, chicken alfredo.. I can't think of anything else. And for sides we have mashed potatoes, baked potatoes (they are SOOOOO good with cheese and bacon bits), pasta sides, green beans, corn, broccili and cheese...
Thats all i can think of right now! Hope i helped a little.

I'm making mini meatloafs in muffin tins tonight

chicken pot pie pockets (made with egg roll wrappers in muffin tins) tomorrow

and taco cassarole sunday.

easy recipes i've made recently... bake thin pork chops, when done pour pork gravy on top. Serve with sides.. bakes potatoes, mashed potatoes, garlic egg noodles with parmesian

crock pot rotisserie chicken... roll a few balls of foil and put in bottom of large crock pot. Rub lawry;s seasoning on whole roasting chicken and place on top of foil. Let cook 8 hours. It will fall off bone.

Instead of foil balls.. I wrapped potatos in foil and placed on bottom... so I had potatoes and chicken ready to go in 8 hours.

Look on Pinterest. I've found a lot of great new meal ideas lately. I've been trying 1-2 a weekend for something new.

I used to go on pinterest for one thing, get side tracked looking at something else and forget all together what I was looking for. I blamed being pregnant on the brain-mush-syndrome.
