This will be my first. But I've Nannied full time/live in, small infants, and young children, and I'd have to hop in a bathing suit just to bath the one, because the tub was the size of a hot tub and the baby liked to face dive! Lol.

So for my own I'd like her to be comfy and secure and enjoy her own bath times. Not that we wont co bathe every once in a while. From the looks of it, it wont be that hard to maintain, honestly at this point my choice has turned from whether to get on at all. To whether I should get a yellow or white one LOL. I can't choose. Her names going to be Lillian So Lily, and I wanna get a white one. But at the same time... It's white... So I want the yellow one. GOSH I wish they had purple!   It'd be all over.

He barely has any laundry, lol. We just wear PJ's while at home and he wears the hospitals scrubs while at work.

I wish SO was like that. He has his work clothes, comes home changes to normal clothes at 7pm, then to PJ's at nine. He also makes jeans last like 3-5 days.

I am jealous of you both over the laundry....
there are safe ways to dye it depending on the fabric...
if you can figure out the fabric of the part you would want purple I can tell you how to naturally dye it ...I just saw it on amazon and fell in love had no idea there was this much info on it...lots of research will be done today on this now lol also idk why but I thought they had other choices besides yellow and white on amazon have you tried that?

after grabbing the link the colors are pink and blue besides the white and yellow and grape juice would *stain* the white forever there for dying it once you washed it in vinegar then washed it normally after that just a suggestion

That's what both of us do too. If we have to leave the house we put jeans/tshirts on, then as soon as we get home it's back into pj's and hang up the jeans, lol.

Right now I have 2 pairs of leggings one if you count the fact that I can't find the other pair LOL. And my maternity shirts I'm too lazy right now for anything else   lol my 9 mo. curse. I didn't want to spend a bunch on maternity that I wouldn't wear again.

And I don't want anything Pink for that fact that I really don't like it, the white was because of her name   and the yellow because sun flowers are my favorite next to tulips <3

But isn't that bath just the coolest SO is almost more excited than I am about it.

I did my bathroom in rubber duckys for my son
so keeping this baby a surprise has made it easy for me to pick the yellow one and well it just wont blend with the ducks but oh well our ducks are forgiving and dont usually make eye contact in the tub so if one or two falls in my bubble baths its not to awakeward

We have a rubber ducky shower curtain (That so needs replacing) and SO is a country boy, and loves flowers. Like he knows actual facts about flowers it's strange. Lol but whatever. So he'll be redoing the bathroom in flowers for Lily and I  ! So it probably would be better off getting the white one   Plus Lily's are white :3

A good friend of mine has one, and it made even the big kitchen sink cramped for her newborn. It is cute and she uses it as a tummy time mat.

It was a gift, but she wouldn't have bought one herself.

have something similar, I got it for $20 at BabiesRUs, it's just foam, not fancy and it unfolds to dry, there's nothing for water to soak into so I'd just wipe it down after bath and then hang it up on a nail in the bathroom. It was awesome for the first few months.
