re: Water broke, but sent home?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make them do an unltrasound to check levels. I have a friend who's water broke and they sent her home. He baby died inside of her a few days later. <3 hope everything will be okay for you

I know I hate being a bitch about stuff to people I need to help me
but first time or not you know when things are going on and legally its your right to go in and demand labs be run on your fluid if you dont think its pee
you can demand the ultrasound etc. that being said if you dont walk the line carefully of demanding but nicely you can end up with a good wait so prepare for it...
me and hubby unless its a real emergency have to pack like we are spending the night when we go to any er around here cause wait times are 9 hours plus even when bleeding or having broken bones etc

I'm so sorry, when she went to the hospital did they test her fluid or give her an ultrasound?  

Idk the name of the test they ran b but she said it was accurate. I got a nice nurse to give me an ultrasound and his fluid levels are at 8.something. Does this sound normal for 36 weeks pregnant? I was discharged but have a follow up on monday. If it was my water, will baby be okay by monday? I'm so scared of stillborn, and other complications.

I honestly dont remember from a year ago where my fluids were but if he stops moving for a period of time, I would go back in. If the ultrasound came back normal I would say you should be alright. (will pray for you regardless.) But wuth her i believe they did the paperstrip that would change color. and it came back neg on her due date, and then she went in 3-4 days later to do a NST and alexis was no longer alive so they induced her.

Do kick counts like crazy. And if you ever feel uneasy just go in. Have u had any more leaking?

No more leaks at all. After hearing that story of the baby passing though, I can't say im not terrified. I'm a nervous person in general, god forbid anything happen.....

You're pushing it...5cm of fluid for the third tri is where they draw the line some a little more than that. Mine is at 14cm right now at 34wks

Thank you for posting that, that only confirms that I'm definitely going back in about 2 hours (a few hrs away from hospital or I'd go now)
I've had one leaky experience, not much at ask though, but I'm feeling massive pressure, and my contractions go from 2-3 minutes apart for like 20 min, then go away for like 45 min to an hour. I just don't feel right. He's moving a lot but I need to make sure my boy is okay, even if that means going to the hospital just for being worried.
