As it was, he was in hospital for 2 weeks and then the hospital was kind enough to provide a voucher to get us home in a taxi! It cost almost $200  

I'm so glad our system is almost free. It comes at a price behind the scenes, but it's still so much better than America's system....

We have the highest taxes in Australia but everything is FREE in health care world thankgoodnes!
