Oh, yeah! Sorry, I was just adding to what you were saying, not disputing.  

I know one person who is going through a sex change. But her situation is different. She was born as an innersex. She has both male and female parts. 25 years ago, they made her parents choose her sex. They chose male. Well now she identifies as a female and always has. She even has fathered 3 children. She is legally a female now and legally changed her name.

She has had 3 birth certificates. One when she was born listing her as a female. One when they decided to raise her as a male. And now one now listing her as a female again.

Oh wow. That would be such a hard decision to make as a parent. Dis she have the operation to make her just a male when she was little or did she grow up with both parts? Its interesting that she has kids since most hermafidites (sp) are sterile

She had a penis. She still has a penis. She grew up with testicles as well. But she has ovaries and an uterus. It's a very different situation. I was in a hospital with her and I found out alot about sexual reassignment surgeries than I ever knew. It was fascinating to me.
