Curious for the fun of it.. whatcha think?

posted 11th Jan
I've always wanted my first boy to be Cade Paxton.. until my boyfriend and I were looking up names for our Skyrim character :b The second I saw Ashby my jaw dropped and I fell in love with it!! My mind was set that that would be my first boys name. And then a few weeks later he and I found out we were expecting (: We've decided on the middle name Adam. I love love love it to death! But very few people have liked it. The most common responses are along the lines of "oh... thats.. interesting" haha either way we both love it and that's what matters
But I was just curious, what do YOU think of the name Ashby Adam? (:

I went to school with a boy named Adam Ashby lol. His last name was Ashby. Personally I always thought of Adam as more of a first name.

To be honest, I think it's too many "A" sounds in a row, and "Ashby" reminds me of a cartoon. I don't like it, sorry.

I don't really like Asher and I think there are too many of them..

It's funny you say that now... when I named my son "Asher", I got the strangest responses from people... now it's grown like crazy in popularity. In 5 years everyone will be named "Ashby"... hahaha

I know one Ashby and I know of one Ashby...both girls.

But it's like Ashley, where it started as a masculine name. It was also a general in the Civil War's last name I believe
