false negatives

I am not sure what you are asking, though. Antibiotics won't make the test negative because you are taking them, if that's the question.

But you may get a negative if its too early.

I took a pregnancy test 2 days before my missed period. The I took a pregnancy test about a week after my missed period. They were all negatives.

I've been taking antibiotics for an infection and still taking my birthcontrol and I was suppose to get my period on Dec. 31st (and I'm pretty regular).

I started my birthcontrol 3 weeks ago this Sunday. Someone told me that taking antibiotics could cause a false negative and then I've been told that once I get to the sugar pills I'll get a period.

But I have a condition called adenomyosis and I usually get a lot of crapping a few days before my missed period and heavy amounts of discharge. I haven't gotten that yet.

I'm going to call the doctor today anyways but just wanted to see what others think and I'm not always good at explaining myself so I think I can confuse people haha.
