Texas mommies help me!

So if you were going to recommended a romantic kid free weekend in Texas to someone who had never been there what would you recommended?


What city?
Any specific hotel?
Dining?
Places to visit?

It doesn't have to be all five star hotels and such just something fun nd relaxing to do over a weekend.... Not too outdoorsy

During spring break, yes. I don't know about the rest of the year.

You could visit the Alamo. It's in San Antonio.  

Most people love the riverwalk. Tons of shops and dining. And you can ride on the boat down the river all romantic and shizz. Haha.

I like my home town, San Antonio. Downtown is amazing. I love staying at the Emily Morgan hotel, right across from the alamo, a few blocks from the down town mall. Theres so many good places to eat. They have replies believe it or not, wax museum, fun things like that. Good clubs.

I love the riverwalk ( San Antonio OP). Gaylord in Grapevine is really nice along with hotels in Dallas and Addison.

I like to go to Dicks restaurant, one of the million places off the riverwalk  
So not a place for kids thought but that place cracks me up

I think we have one here.... I'm hoping when we move to Texas (Dallas area) we can take the honeymoon we never had. My parents haven't seen ds since he was 4 months old so I know they'd love to watch him..... Considering they keep try to get me to ship hm to them lol

aw, ya.. that would definitely be a nice thing! My dad lives in Lewisville (Dallas area) and I'm in Austin, but I was born in San Antonio
