Should I,,,,,,,
posted 10th Jan
A week or so ago I noticed what seemed like dry skin on my son's leg. So I put some lotion on it, and had continued to do it about every other day. Well I then noticed it's all down the outsides of his legs, his arms, and back. And it doesn't look like dry skin, and lotion isn't doing jack for it.
It's flesh colored little patches of bumps. I couldn't take a pic bc they wouldn't show up. They have never gotten red, irritated, or seem to bother my son.
I'm wondering if it could possibly be eczema.
I've been back and forth on if I should make him an appointment now for it, or just wait until his 4 month check up on the 31st.
I feel bad for wanting to wait, but since it doesn't seem to bother him.

could be, get some hydrocortisone cream or ointment and try that

My son has had it since he was born, he's two now.
Hydrocortisone cream helps.
After the bumps have gone, we use Eucerin, but it's always good to have the hydrocortisone cream handy.

Thanks ladies, i'll try some of that. I thought about getting some of the over the counter eczema lotion until his appointment.

My daughter has bad eczema, she has dime sized dry patches all over her arms, legs, back and she had some on her face. It's better now but it was really bad over the summer, it never bothered her, but I took her in to be seen anyway, since she didn't have anything already scheduled. Regular lotion doesn't help, you'll need a special cream. You can probably wait til his appointment if it's not bothering him though.
