My photography is not as good as it once was or nearly as good as some of you. I am hoping this project will get me some of my creativity back and get me into practice again. Here goes.

its true, having a nice camera DOES help. BUT, I still contend this is about documenting the year. plus, the more you use your camera phone or point and shoot, the better you'll get with it. Then if you do get a super nice camera, you'll already be a pro!

No I agree. I just hate not being able to put focus where I want. Or heck have focus control at all. Lol.

Um attempted something like that. I just use free stuff online. So I did b&w then reversed it for the beads.
